Writing Assignment

Beauty
- When I was younger I always felt beauty was a particular size, shape and color now that I'm older I feel as though If I tell myself I'm beautiful everyday it should not actually matter what others think of me and or about me

First Experience in College
- Even though I don't live that far away from home ... I cried the first day I came to college because I knew that I had to start maturing on my own without my mother's help.

Poetry
- I never liked poetry when I was growing up , I started to like it my sophomore year in college seeing and also understanding that you are expressing yourself as though you are writing in a journal that can be expressed aloud . I read my first poem when a group on campus invited me to speak . I write a poem about everything that is going on in my life ...
